At AFRICA'S MIRACLE! We purchase only organic Rooibos and Honeybush teas directly from growers. We do this to ensure that no pesticides or harmful fertilizers have been used during cultivation of the tea. After all, we think it would be pretty silly to drink a "healthy" beverage if the teas in the product have been grown with harmful pesticides and fertilizers. In addition, the Primary Producers Export Control Board (a government control board in South Africa www.ppecb.com) tests all our tea to ensure that that there are no pesticide residues or harmful bacteria, prior to granting permission and associated certification for export.

We are proud that our tea is both grown and packaged in South Africa. As you may be aware, South Africa is still struggling to fully revive itself from the effects of the old apartheid system, whose vestiges still linger. The economy is suffering due to massive unemployment caused by the failure to adequately educate generations of people. We believe that by helping to create employment in South Africa we are helping to sustain economic and thus political stability.
